roll on/off hire

Where projects require the disposal of a large volume of waste the most efficient and economical solution is usually a roll on/off container.

Available to both trade and domestic customers our roll on/off  hire service can provide a solution to situations where a skip or grab loader is unsuitable.

Generally utilised for large construction or refurbishment projects we offer roll on/off containers in a range of sizes from 15 to 40 cubic yards. We are also able to deliver recycled materials such as certified crushed brick, screened soil and woodchip.

USEFUL INFORMATION

Are there any items that I cannot throw in the container?

We do not accept the following items in our skips:

  • Fridges & freezers
  • Tyres
  • Large tree roots
  • Gas bottles
  • Batteries
  • Electrical waste
  • Tarmac
  • Hazardous waste such as asbestos

How long can I hire the container for?

Our standard hire period is 7 working days, depending on demand we may allow a short hire period extension on request.

Access onto my drive is limited will I be able to have a roll on/off container?

Our vehicles are 3.00 metres wide so we would suggest a minimum access width of 4.00 metres. If the vehicle needs to turn to get to the place that you want your container to be sited then please allow for this when measuring access.

Are there any loading restrictions for my roll on/off container?

Containers must be level loaded so that we can transport your waste safely. If your container is overloaded we will request that you remove some of the waste before we can remove it.

What if my container is to be sited on the public highway or on public land such as a grass verge?

If the container will be sited on public land or on a highway you will need to purchase a permit from the local authority before it is delivered.  As part of our service we will obtain a permit for you on request. Furthermore, if the container will be placed on a public highway you will need to arrange for safety lamps and cones to ensure it is visible during the hours of darkness. You can obtain these from local hire shops.
